This is Gretel, my german shepherd. I purchased her when she was 18 months old. It was at this time that Cindy refers to the ribs showing and Gretel being untrustworthy. I now compete with her in AKC show rings, off lead, and have several titles and first place ribbons on her. She's awesome!

Hi, my name is Cindy and I've been a friend of Robin's for several years now.  I have met all of her dogs and have to say she has done an amazing job with all of them.

Chloe is a well manner dog, and has been that way since the first time I met her.  I have only met her a few times, but everytime she has been a pleasure to be around.

Then Robin aquired Nick.  The first time I met Nick he was a playful guy.  I would see him from time to time. Then, I found out that he had became a Therapy Dog and invited Robin to the assisted living facility where my parents now live.  It just so happened that the day she brought Nick in for his job (visit) the facility was having an Easter egg hunt, and we had lots of company.  Everyone enjoyed Nick's visit.  From little kids to the residents.  When I visit my parents, I try to say "Hi" to most everyone there, and have made friends with a few of the residents as well as the workers.  There is a woman resident that has "NEVER" responded to me.  When Nick was visiting, I stopped to introduce both Robin and Nick to this lady, and that was the first time she had spoke to me.  I have to say, that made my day!  Nick was a big hit and Robin has been invited back.

My sister has a friend who's mother lives at the same assisted living facility where my parents live, her name is Norma.  Nick made a special visit to Norma's room.  I knocked on Norma's door (some of her family members were there) and asked her if she would like a dog visitor.  One of the family members looked out the door and replied....Oh, I think you want to see this visitor!  Nick walked in, Norma's face lit up, and he sat next to her recliner enjoying Norma petting him.  Everyone in the room loved him.

Then there is Gretel.  The first time I met Gretel I was a littel leary of her.  She seemed uneasy and wasn't very friendly.  Her ribs were showing and she seemed skitish.  Thru the next several months I would talk to Robin and she would share pictures of Gretel with me and tell me how good she was doing in her classes.  Then, one day, I met Gretel again.  BOY WAS I SURPRISED!! She was a different dog.  She was mild and well-mannered.  I felt VERY comfortable around her.  She now has meat on her bones and you can tell she is now a happy and very content dog.

Hats off to Robin for the all the work she has done with her dogs and the great accomplishments she has done.  I consider Robin a great friend and can't wait until her next visit with any of her dogs.  My mom fell in love with Nick and is excited to see him again.
